Collage making is a playful assemblage, a layered composition made out of multiple visual sources. It allows to craft incrementally a complex display of a new figuration. It becomes a process of archiving, sifting through, theming. It allows shifting scales and a malleable definition of hierarchies. The trials with background and foreground resembles our search for giving context and making new claims.
